Allegro cafe

Among other beach cafes in other Greek islands, I would say Allegro has better service and nicer atmosphere. Nice shade, clean tables, very good service, quiet music. Hamburger was tasty with homemade French fries. Local IPA beer 8 miles comes with cold glass. Dish of the day pizza was unfortunately not good, very bad dough, average ingredients. Good coffee variety like frappe, cold espresso, etc. Two sunbeds were €15. Has shower but no cabin on the beach. Overall, recommended

An absolute hidden gem on Astypalea! Café Allegro at Livadi Beach combines a perfect beachfront location with incredibly warm and welcoming service. We especially want to highlight Maria (Beach Service), who takes care of the guests with so much charm and attention – always friendly and always there when you need her. Also, Nicole in the restaurant deserves special mention for her genuine kindness and professional service that makes every visit a pleasure. The food is excellent – fresh, delicious, and prepared with great care. Prices are absolutely fair, even for the sunbeds, drinks, and the outstanding beach service. You won’t find “tourist prices” here, but honest quality and hospitality that enhance the holiday experience even more. The beach area is beautifully set up with comfortable sunbeds, large umbrellas providing perfect shade, and quick, uncomplicated service directly to your spot. It’s a place where you can easily spend an entire day relaxing and enjoying. The neighboring restaurants surely look inviting too, but we didn’t feel the need to go anywhere else – we were so impressed with Allegro from the start. The whole atmosphere at Livadi Beach is a real highlight for anyone’s holiday. Everyone visiting this island should definitely plan a stop at Livadi Beach – for us, it was one of the most beautiful spots on all of Astypalea!

I didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast as it was only limited to the continental items thus had a coffee. The young lady working this morning was extremely friendly, courteous and welcoming. For $1.50€ Greek coffee, I was able to enjoy this quiet beach view to myself on a beautiful patio - what a steal! You would pay much more in town without the waterfront.
